High level locations - Is there a way?

I completed Witcher 3 yesterday, and am going back to find locations I haven't been to yet. However, during the play-through I came across a few locations that were too high level for me at the time, but I now can't remember where they were. Is there any way to mark areas to go back to?

In hindsight I wish I had printed out the maps and marked the locations on it as I played.
