Wow! I'm on my second play through and apparently successfully made an alternate choice this time because if I could have stopped the madness she'd still be alive! I'm devastated! She's one of my favorites…not Yen, but would have romanced her over Triss. (sigh) I'm committed to a different play-through so I'll forge on, but what the hell, plus now I'm down a mage for the battle at the end.
