Whilst trying to loot a smuggler's cache an Ekhidna swam right up, grabbed the rope, and swam off with it! Now I can't find it anywhere in the area, and the cache seems like its going to remain incomplete on my map forever. Has this happened to anyone else?
PS. was almost going to give up on the Skellige smuggler's caches until I found out Geralt basically auto-aims his crossbow whilst piloting the boat.
