I did some testing today since I had the Crowns to max out the Runewright, and found more odd behavior with the equip/unequip bug…
First off, the exploit doesn't seem to work if the enchantment is on an already matching type of armor (Levity on a light piece, for example,) and you aren't wearing other non-matching pieces. This leads me to believe that the bug isn't actually related to the Glyphword, but the way it "changes" the armor type.
Second, and more interestingly, you can actually use the mechanic in REVERSE to permanently weaken your character's damage. If you enchant a light piece with the Balance Glyphword (makes all armor medium,) and start the equip/unequip cycle WITH the Cat School Perk slotted, it will REMOVE the damage buff over and over, PERMANENTLY. This allows you to reverse the exploit.
Since the exploits work for HP and Sign Intensity for the Bear and Griffin School Perks as well, it stands to reason that the same process could be applied to remove them, provided you have the right piece of gear. -Example: If you want to reduce your buffed HP, you place Balance on a heavy piece of armor, and equip/unequip it with the Bear School Perk slotted. (But WITHOUT the Griffin School Perk slotted, or else you will exploit-buff your Sign Intensity in the process.)
I still need to run some more tests to see if each buff behaves the same way in reverse, but I verified that DPS/Cat School DOES work in reverse on PS4 using a Balance enchanted Mastercrafted Feline chest piece. I was able to slowly reduce my damage by equipping it over and over with the Cat School perk slotted. (All the way to base damage, actually, so you can even have the Cat School perk slotted without getting the bonus from it OR any other crit dmg/% buff perks.)
(Version is current 1.11 PS4)

Some interesting notes about the Glyphwords Enchanting expoit... You can also use it to WEAKEN your character!
