For the few blissfully unaware of this quest, this is an early side quest where you're supposed to kill a bunch of ghouls while protecting a bunch of peasants from being killed by said ghouls, and it has to be the most frustrating experience I've had in the game.
The quest giver who fights alongside you dies in one hit. While the quest is still doable, fighting the ghouls alone becomes alot harder, and you'll automatically fail another nearby side quest. The peasants you have to protect die in two hits, and despite hundreds of thousands of years of instincts gained through natural selection, they will not run out of harm's way but instead stay still when being attacked.
The ghouls attack in waves constisting of three or four each, however since you're likely pretty low leveled when encountering this quest and the ghouls are relatively high leveled, each ghoul alone will be enough of a hassle for a single wave to become a real challenge. This means you won't be able to stop one of the ghouls to eventually run off and attack one of the peasants.
And if that wasn't challenging enough, the game won't wait for you to kill each ghoul in the current wave before sending in the next one, meaning you can have around six high-leveled, constantly healing ghouls to kill while keeping them from killing the flat out suicidal peasants.
This quest left a really sour taste in my mouth and really stuck out from the rest of the game, which usually has some very well designed quest.

Bitter Harvest has to be the most frustrating quest in the entire game.
