What I love about the Witcher more than anything.

I just wanted to put this in here. I recently came back to the witcher after a long while. I started Hearts of Stone and oh boy then it hit me how much I missed this game. It's not about the monster-slaying, hilarious quests or loot-hoarding for me. It's about the idyllic life once you have completed your tasks. Once you have completed a certain scene on a certain lake after a very cool quest, you can't help but wonder, how did the developers hit something so big right, something that is amiss in many-many other games.

The atmosphere.

You actually feel alive in this game. The cutscenes, especially the peaceful ones, are so beautiful, that when you get out of a romantic scene, you feel so good about yourself, like you have actually done something well. Then you see water flowing, trees creaking, it is dawn time, the birds are singing, the peaceful music is playing. And you feel alive, you feel INSIDE this game world, it's not just some empty meaningless landscape. You feel for the witcher, you care for him, you are happy when he is happy and you are sad when he is sad. This is so great I cannot put it into words. Witcher 3 deserves all the praise it gets. I hope this is not the end of the saga, cause magic has been done here. CD Projekt Red has breathed LIFE into this game. Something that is amiss in most of the other games. Looking forward to even more adventures in the new expansion!
