I encountered this bug when trying to start the Wolf Gear treasure hunt. In order to start it, you need to first go to the ruined watch tower near Kar Morean where there will be a chest you need to open. Problem is, it wont. I've tried just about everything, re-loading my save, downloading the add on again, turning the system off and on, (i'm on PS4 by the way) and no luck. What's worse is that i can't just go to the locations of the base armor and swords to try to pick it up because it won't let me. I've seen videos of the quest and it seems like i have to do the thing at the watch tower with the crystals first in order to even get the base gear. Once again, i can't progress because i can't open the chest to read the note, which in turn prompts you to activate the two crystals to open the portal. I guess i have to read the note no matter what to be able to progress, and i can't since the chest is bugged for whatever reason. It just won't open.
Also i've read the patch notes for V1.11 and apperently this patch was supposed to fix it, but it didn't on my save for whatever reason. And i really wanna get that armor too haha.
So does anyone out there by chance know how to fix this? or am i gonna have to wait for another patch? If there is a way please let me know! I have no idea how far the release date for the new patch is and i really don't feel like waiting.
