Help convince me to keep playing W3?

I got the game on it's release date, played it for 3 or 4 hours and decided I was uninterested in playing a game that's controls/movements were developed by a team of guys in a drunk tank.

I recently stumbled upon a reddit post with "optimized" settings and have been playing for about 2 hours but now I'm sitting here going "what do I do, how do I know where to go, how do I even know where Im SUPPOSED to go?".

I want to enjoy this game, I really do. But Im now to the part of the game where I have to fight wraiths and concoct potions/oils where usually the game will give you at least a BRIEF idea of what to do, help me out here guys.
