I was trying to get some proper info about damage over time effects and monster resistances (specially vs poison). But I couldn’t find anything useful on the web, most of it was specualtion anyway.
So as a developer myself at some point I can’t leave my fingers of the possibility to at least analyze the game data and see how a game actually works behind the images on the monitor. Because I was so eager to get to know about said topic I uncooked the game looked it up myself. Just want to share the ouput with you as it might by useful. (I will comment some things later maybe)
One word in advance: I don’t claim this tobe a 100% correct or that I interpreted everything correctly. It’s the result of my first iteration over the related game files. Anyways, have fun with the numbers…

– percent values mean damage relative to the enemies hitpoints
– all dots deny health regen (health regen strength reduction by 200)
– burning effects cancel on attack
