Questions About Whirl and The Fast Attack Tree

Question for the experts.

Do the other slots in the fast sword attack tree stack with whirl (also in the fast attack tree)?

Or does "muscle memory" and "precise blows" only affect the standard fast sword attack, and not whirl?

I’m asking because I had always assumed that these items stack with whirl but now I’ve unlocked "crippling strikes" and I’ve noticed that whirl attacks do not apply the bleed damage while standard sword attacks do. So maybe whirl doesn’t stack with the rest of the fast attack tree slots?
