I lost my saves, what should I do?

I lost my saves when I did a clean update of Windows 10 and didn't realise GOG doesn't do cloud saves so I lost all of them for The Witcher 3, I was around just after the quest of "Through Time and Space" , I pretty much did most of the side missions up to this point but don't recall what level I was. 90+ hours

I want to start playing it again to finish it but I don't know how to proceed wether to just start all over or do a new game plus playthrough, according to the wiki I was only a few quests away from completing the game and if it would be worth doing it all over again just for the ending. I could just watch lets plays of it but thats hardly as nice.
