Witcher 3 + Hearts of Stone is the most thrilling power fantasy I ever played

Here you have Geralt of Rivia, an improved version of a human and yet fairly mundane beign compared to everything else in the universe, going around and solving all matters of things, things that no one have ever seen before, facing increasingly powerful monsters and tripping around all kinds of dimensions. Don't get too surprised by the absurdity of what Geralt is going through because you can bet that things will only get worse and stranger. Avoiding releasing the pestilence on the world? Just another mission. Killing a king? Had to be done. Beating the devil himself on his own game? Boy sure that was risky. Helping stop the end of the world itself?

Geralt have no ready formula to deal with some of the challenges he faces, he just goes through with it, relying on his skills, improvising along the way and hoping for the best. All while fearing failure because no god kissed him on the forehead, he wasn't born destined to anything and no prophecy will avoid his death, hes a mortal and the price of failure is big.

Geralt is very weak and yet, the consequences of his triumphs are immense, he achieves great things by just kicking ask and assing questions. I never played another game like Witcher, no other game does this kind of power fantasy, all the others put you in the role of the super master hero of the universe and because of that you have to save the world, all the others give you supernatural god powers while Geralt is deterred by a iron jail and a angry girlfriend
