So, I just finished this quest this morning. I had some questions about how things play out at the end…
Who did you side with? Why? How did things play out for you?
I sided with Horst, because he seemed more reasonable. Ewald was shady from the beginning, lied, killed despite his promise, and seems to be a good for nothing fool that only brought shame to the family.
Horst seemed… Well, he wasn't exactly "good" but the worst he did was toss Geralt out for asking about the house. I can't exactly blame him, either, based on the documents contained inside.
How do things play out if you kill them both and take the documents, is there any benefit to it?
